This program has been offered for FREE across Zimbabwean communities for more than 8 years now with the aim of encouraging people to change their financial behaviour. This programme will give you a good understanding of money-related issues, new skills to manage your money and a variety of reminders to help you approach your finances with confidence..

On The Money - From Humble Beginnings
The On The Money programme started in 2005 as a television programme on SABC Education targeting low to middle income consumers. The programme, based on the behaviours of the Big Five animals (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo), illustrates how to implement sound financial management principles. In 2007 the programme was launched using workbooks and workshops were facilitated across South Africa in all the official languages by Old Mutual financial education facilitators. In recent years, the programme has found its way into Zimbabwe
The On The Money Programme is accredited by the Banking Sector Education Training Authority (BankSETA) and is aligned to the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
The revamped On The Money programme
On the Money’s material is constantly updated to maintain its relevance and to cater for our customer’s improved financial knowledge. The programme also has a digital component which assists us to reach more people and enable even more positive futures.
